I was diagnosed Bipolar 1 when I was 19 in November 2012 on the day Barack Obama was elected our president again. The following images are a portion of the work I created starting in August 2012 coming up towards mania, during mania, hospitalization & post hospitalization concluding mid January 2013. The medical world describes the symptoms of mania as having rapid flows of ideas, heightened mood, euphoria, pressure of speech, increased energy, decreased need for sleep, hyperactivity & delusions of grandeur.
